Food Package

The world is facing hunger: One in every nine people is living in extreme hunger. Today, 821 million people struggle to feed their families. Many do not know where their next meal will come from.

Lack of regular access to food is not only about hunger. It deeply affects health, energy, and overall quality of life. A child who cannot eat properly cannot continue school. Parents cannot work. Communities cannot stand strong.

Yet, you can help ease this burden and become a source of hope for those in need. As our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“He is not one of us whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.” (Bukhari)

At Islamic Relief, thanks to your donations, we provide emergency food packages during times of crisis, reaching the most vulnerable families in our communities. We also support long-term solutions by offering vocational training, providing farmers with seeds, livestock, and equipment, and increasing production through irrigation systems. In addition, we deliver both preventive and therapeutic health services to combat malnutrition.

During Ramadan, we distribute food packages containing essential items such as oil, flour, and sugar to families in need around the world. These packages allow families to sit at their iftar tables each evening with dignity and peace of mind.

In 2024, with your support, we implemented 167 food security and livelihood projects, reaching 5.4 million people. We delivered Ramadan food packages to more than 1.3 million people across 29 countries, supported farmers with seeds, and established community-based food banks.
